I specialise in working out how old sediment is. Understanding the age of (often called "dating") sediment is important as it lets us work out how quickly (or slowly!) changes happened. I'm also really interested in whether or not these changes vary spatially - do they happen everywhere at once, or do some areas respond earlier?
You can also find my academic CV here, an interview I did with the GeolSoc's Geoscientist magazine here, and (if you really want to inflict some damage) you can read my entire PhD thesis here.
